HIGH ASSET PROPERTY DIVISION
In Massachusetts, marital assets and debts are divided on an equitable basis. That means the process seeks to produce a “fair” result but not necessarily a 50/50 split. The complexity of divorce is taken to another level when high net worth is involved or there is an inheritance. We are familiar with all aspects of the asset division and equitable assignment of debt processes as governed by chapter 208, section 34 of the Massachusetts General Laws.
